Genie Simon and Jo Kremin reported on the progress of the Smallpox clinics. At this time there should be a final decision on phase 2 by March 27^th.

Genie and Jo will keep us updated. There will also be a tabletop drill on May 21^st in Redwood Falls. More info to follow.

Jim Sandgren gave a report on training that is available. Through a grant from the state of Minnesota there is approximately $20,000.00 available for training in MIMS, Hazmat awareness, Hazmat decontamination, etc. If any departments are interested in this training, please contact Jim Sandgren @507-637-4035. There is also money available for meals, and facility rental.

Discussion was held on a drill for 2003. It was determined that a drill will be held sometime in August 2003 in the Sanborn area involving a train. Jim will contact Mike Ball from DM&E railroad for assistance and try to have him attend the next meeting.

There was no further business, meeting was adjourned.
